RIC LEVEL III - RIT Under Live Fire Conditions!

This 8-hour (1 day) class, utilizing a local approved burn building, is designed to take the students who have completed RIC Levels I & II classes  (pre-requisite) and give them the opportunity to test their abilities in locating and removing a down firefighter while operating under live fire conditions.  The students, with instructor oversight, will fulfill the roles of RIC Officer and RIC Firefighters.  All live fire operations will be conducted under strict adherence to the NFPA 1403 live burn standard and NFPA 1500 Occupational Safety and Health Standard.  The Program Lead Instructor will have final say in any questions of interpretation.  Each evolution has a pre-operation discussion, conduction of the operation and a post-incident discussion.
